Early Morning Back Roads…

Last night Parallax View had a concert at Sunrise UMC’s retreat at Logan Valley Retreat Center. It was lots of fun, a couple hundred were there. I was impressed with the great job Bill LaMora did putting everything together!

Logan Valley is about 1.5 hours from where we all live, and there isn’t a good way to get there. The way everything went, we ended up with 4 vehicles there, and on the way back, everyone kinda split about half way back to deliver everyone that hadn’t parked at my house. We decided to take a back road between 1:30 and 2:00am to save some time, when all the sudden our front left tire exploded. The tire was only 6 month old…

Fortunately, I had Chris Guthrie and Matt Ellison with me, and they applied the donut in about 5 minutes! I must say though the place we had to change it reminded me of a scene where “dueling banjos” would have been appropriate!

Man – I am glad that I didn’t ride back with you! :-)

Great concert last night. The crowd really worshiped. We had a smooth set-up and a smooth tear-down. I am as well very impressed with the job that Bill Lamora is doing with Sunrise UMC.
